Forum of the Graduate Program in Food Science and Technology (PPGCTA)
On Friday, April 25, 2025, the PPGCTA-UFV Forum: Past, Present, and Future was held at the Department of Food Technology (DTA). The event began with the participation of the department head, Prof. Emille Rocha de Almeida Prata, followed by the presentation of the program’s main academic indicators, led by the PPGCTA coordinator, Prof. Bruno Ricardo de Castro Leite Júnior.
Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to attend lectures on topics relevant to the development of graduate education:
- The role of innovation in the qualification of graduate programs
Prof. Dr. Monique Renon Eller - The vision and positioning of funding agencies in the evaluation and approval of research projects
Prof. Dr. Valeria Paula Rodrigues Minim - Internationalization and university extension in graduate education
Prof. Dr. Antonio Fernandes de Carvalho
The event provided a space for reflection and dialogue on the paths taken and the future challenges of graduate studies in Food Science and Technology.
