Nélio José de Andrade Award – 4th Edition

In its fourth edition, the Nélio José de Andrade Award recognized three master’s dissertations and two doctoral theses. The evaluation committee was composed of researchers external to the PPGCTA-UFV, all of whom are recognized in the field of Food Science and Technology. The committee members were: Prof. Diego Alvarenga Botrel (UFLA), Prof. Maurílio Lopes Martins (IF Sudeste MG, Rio Pomba campus), and Prof. Suzana Maria Della Lucia (UFES).
The awards ceremony took place on May 16, 2025, and was attended by Prof. Nélio himself; the Director of the Center for Exact and Technological Sciences at UFV, Prof. Danielle Dias Sant’Anna Martins; the advisor to the Graduate Program, Prof. Karla Maria Damiano Teixeira; as well as faculty members and students from the Department of Food Technology.
